Abu Dhabi Hotels
Abu Dhabi has an inherent advantage over many destinations due to its island location. This makes the waterfront easily accessible and for that reason there are several Abu Dhabi hotels that have been developed right on the Persian Gulf front.
You can enjoy comfortable accommodations at these hotels that overlook the beautiful, clean Gulf.
What I like about the Abu Dhabi water front hotels is that there is little, if any risk of dirty sea insects that you typically find in various countries like Australia and South America.
But if you are still paranoid you can stay in and benefit from the hotel pools that have an excellent in built temperature control system.
Due to Abu Dhabi’s growing popularity and future plans, most major international hotel operators like Hilton and Marriott are looking to create hotel properties in Abu Dhabi and benefit from the rising tourist activity.
But possibly the biggest reason is that Abu Dhabi doesn’t have the abundance of accommodation like Dubai does (at least, as of 2008). Combine that with heavy investment in tourism and you’re certainly looking at a profitable solution. So if you have some money go build a hotel in Abu Dhabi
An ideal example of luxury
The entirely wireless, government owned $3 billion dollar Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi is 394 bedrooms large with nightly rates ranging between six hundred dollars to twelve thousand dollars. That is some serious Burj Al Arab-esq money. The palace contains a distinct floor that is reserved for Arab royalty and is situated on a 250-acre ground.
Each guest is provided with a handheld device to control the TV, stereo system and thirty distinct lights in every room. This device is worth merely $2,500. It has an eight-inch color screen that I am not sure what you really need it for.
I know what you could do with it, just do not think it is necessary. Oh well, but you could utilize this device to arrange a wake-up call, download a movie, record your favorite TV show or call for hotel service.
I have read that the hotel has top notch security, with no fewer than sixteen firewalls, secure telephones and 3.5TB of secure storage. Definitely, a geek’s paradise. I must certainly save money so that I would spend a night the next time I got to Abu Dhabi.
